JML Builders

San Francisco General Contractor

Although beauty and precision are important, no project is complete until it custom-fits the lives of the clients.

When Jon Low, the founder of JML Builders, brings his twenty years of residential and commercial experience to a job, his goal is to “go beyond the physical aspects of a project, into the lives of the people who will use it.”

He believes in the importance of details, particularly those which reveal how people use their spaces. Where do they relax when they come home? When they carry groceries into the kitchen, do they turn right or left before putting down their bags? He works to make those details come together, so the finished project will custom-fit the lives of his clients.

Consideration is a keystone of Jon’s work ethic. When he visits clients, he slips protective dust booties over his footwear before entering their space. During a job, he takes ownership of the worksite, protecting the property, cleaning up at the end of the day. “Especially if we’re remodeling somebody’s home, they don’t want to face dust or damage. If we come to work and see our client's garbage can’s out on the curb, we’ll bring it back inside.” This is what earns him the word of mouth recommendations that are his best advertisements and referrals.

Jon Low’s commitment to San Francisco runs deep. He was born in this city, he's raising his family here, and he’s on the front lines as a member of the San Francisco Fire Department. Although his favorite jobs are close to home, he accepts projects throughout the Bay area. His life is devoted to giving his best to his community, improving neighborhoods by renovating, remodeling, and rebuilding homes and businesses.
